Leasing Specialist 
POSITION: Leasing Specialist
REPORTS TO: Community Manager
The Leasing Specialist is a sales driven position that performs a variety of administrative tasks geared toward the goal of maximum occupancy by quality residents and performs other functions as assigned by the Community Manager.
  • Performs all tasks relating to leasing the property, such as showing the property to prospective residents, preparing lease packets, running credit reports.
  • Abides by and enforces the Fair Housing Laws.
  • Prepares lease packets and performs move in process for new residents.
  • Generate traffic through internet, print and outreach marketing.
  • Responds to telephone and email communication from residents and prospects.
  • Develop social media initiatives to connect and engage residents; post announcements, photos, updates, and event information.
  • Deliver timely and remarkable customer service to community residents.
  • Play a key role in resolving resident concerns and issues.
  • Aggressively works on resident retention through positive resident relationships.
  • Assist the Community Manager in all duties as assigned.
  • Strong interpersonal, oral and written communication skills
  • Must be organized, detail oriented and have good time management skills
  • Ability to work week-ends and evenings as needed
  • Ability to drive and access to a vehicle
  • Ability to multi-task and work in a busy environment
Candidates will be required to pass a criminal background investigation and a drug screening.
